The "3"

Ok, so I thought I might need to explain the "3" in my blog link... "The Ripleys" was already taken which wasn't too surprising. And with Sean being a "third" we use the number 3 or a roman numeral three alot for stuff. I didn't want anyone to think for some reason there would be a 3rd Ripley in our little family any time soon! HAHA! I am already getting that questions a lot though and we aren't even married yet. I have noticed though that there must be something in the water because so many people I know are getting knocked up! It is starting to make me feel really old, that's for sure. I mean I was already starting to feel old, watching friend's younger siblings grow up, watching friends who already have kids, grow, etc. But now, for some strange reason, I am starting to feel like an old grown up! When did that happen? When did we all grow up? I can't seem to pin point it for myself, all I know is that all of the sudden I actually feel like a grown up! I have been out of college for 4 years now, have had a "real job" for just about that long also, and have lived on my own (give or take a few months in between apartments) since I was 21, but for some reason it wasn't until just recently (like within the last couple weeks) that I have actually felt like a "grown up". I am thinking that maybe its all the pregnant people I know! I am starting to know more and more "parents" now. Most of my friends now are married (or getting married soon) and starting families. Gone are the days of the "single" friends and going out to bars to meet people. It seems so strange! Don't get me wrong, I DO NOT for one second miss those days! HAHA! Just finally starting to sink in that I am actually a grown up.... weird revelation for me!
