Fun Weekend!

We had a fun weekend of hanging out with friends, doing a few things around the house and just staying HOME since we are usually always running around here or there on weekends.

Friday night we had a blast hanging out with friends. Sean grilled up some steaks, we had wine, the boys smoked cigars in the garage and then we all played poker. All in all it was a great night! Morgan was SO well behaved. Well how couldn't she be, she was asleep the whole time! I think she is going through a growth spurt or something because all she can do is sleep lately. I know that sleeping is what babies do, but she is usually pretty awake and alert during the day but for the last few days, well all she wants to do is sleep. I am not going to complain for now. I know some fussy times are coming... Anyways, I digress from the weekends events...

Saturday was a lazy day for the first part of the day! For some reason I thought it would be a good idea to polish off a whole bottle of wine by myself (since no one else was drinking it). Not such a good idea when I have a 6am wake-up call named Morgan.  I made it through the day and by about 3pm I was finally feeling better! At that point Sean and I went to go run some errands. I needed a few things at Target and we thought that maybe we'd get a couple plants or something at Lowe's to make the exterior of our house look like we actually live there. Well, note to self, we apparently can't go to Lowe's without spending HOURS there! We must have been there for at least an hour and a half looking at plants, looking at Halloween decorations, looking at malibu lights...geez! Well we ended up only purchasing the few things we meant to go there for! We got a couple plants and pots to put by our front door. It's not much but it's a step in the right direction. By the time we were done it was about 6pm! Luckily In-N-Out is in the SAME shopping center so we grabbed some burgers before heading home. I think it's terrible that ONE shopping center has Target, Lowe's AND In-N-Out! It's a trap, I swear! Especially for new home owners like us that are easily tempted! HAHA! When we were done with dinner I happened to realize that 8 weeks prior, we were ending our errand run the same way! 8 weeks prior, Sean dragged me ALL over Lake Elsinore running errands to get stuff for the house. We walked around Lowe's for about 2 hours, Targer, Bed Bath & Beyond, etc. We were out for about 4 hours, came home for a few, and then Sean realized he needed to go BACK to Lowe's, so there was another 2 hours! HAHA! Mind you I was 9 months preggo, ready to pop any minute (really any minute and I didn't even realize it). He treated me to In-N-Out since I was such a trooper! The next morning I went into labor! 31 hours later, Morgan decided to join the world :)!

Sunday, Morgan ACTUALLY decided to let me sleep in! So we slept until about 10! While I fed Morgan, Sean made us breakfast. We spent the morning watching the Nascar race from the night before and then watching the Angels. It was a pretty mellow day, exactly what Sundays should be!
